Frequently asked questions
Seven things, in two groups. The protein base is micellar casein (30 g of powder,
about 24 g of protein), pasteurised whole egg powder (20 g, about 10 g of protein) and
bioactive collagen peptides (8 g). The sleep-depth stack is glycine (3 g total,
1.3 g of it added free), magnesium bisglycinate at 120 mg elemental, L-theanine at
150 mg and Montmorency tart cherry at 480 mg. That is the entire list, at those
doses, with no proprietary blend and nothing hidden behind a blend name.
Because the job is eight hours, not twenty minutes. Whey is engineered to arrive fast,
which necessarily means it leaves fast. Micellar casein digests slowly over several
hours, which is why it is the protein the pre-sleep research keeps using. Whole egg is
in there for what comes with the yolk: the fat-soluble vitamins, the choline, the
phospholipids. Its fat slows everything down further. Egg is also the reference
protein others are scored against.
Yes. It contains milk and egg. Micellar casein is a milk protein and whole egg powder is egg. Both are the base of the product, not a trace
or a manufacturing risk. If you have a dairy or egg allergy, this is not a product you
can take, and no version of it will be. The collagen peptides are bovine, so it is not
vegetarian either. We would rather say all of that plainly than bury it in a footnote.
The blanket advice to avoid dietary cholesterol has been substantially revised over the
last two decades as the evidence moved, and for most people dietary cholesterol has a
modest effect on blood cholesterol. Individual response does vary. If you have been given
specific medical advice about cholesterol intake, follow your clinician rather than us.
No to both. It is not vegan, and it is not vegetarian either, because the
bioactive collagen peptides are bovine. It also contains milk and egg. An earlier
version of this page called it ovo-vegetarian; that was true of the old formula and is
not true of this one. If you need a plant protein, we are not the product for you, and
we would rather tell you that than sell you something you did not want.
Because final lab analysis has not landed yet, and we are not going to print an estimate
and let it read as a measurement. Protein content and serving counts are confirmed.
Calories, fats, cholesterol and micronutrient amounts publish as verified figures before
this represents a shippable batch.
One 61 g scoop in water or milk, as the last thing in your evening routine. The
formula is built around the overnight recovery window, and the slow release curve is the
reason it suits that slot. Total daily protein still matters more than timing, so if it
fits your day better elsewhere, it will not go to waste.
No. There are no stimulants, no synthetic hormones and no prohormones. It is food.
If you compete in a tested federation, request the batch certificate of analysis and
check it against your governing body’s list.
Every batch. A certificate of analysis for your lot number is available on request.
Just ask and we will send it.
Not yet. The
gym partner programme does not exist yet. We
have no manufacturer, so there is nothing to stock. Put your name down for first refusal.
Thirty days, money back, including on an opened tub. You have to actually drink it to
know, so a sealed-only return policy would be pointless.
Nowhere. This site is the only place, and there is no reseller, no marketplace
listing and no shelf carrying it. If you find this product for sale somewhere
that is not this site, it did not come from us and we
cannot tell you what is in the tub.
Train hard.
Read the label.
One tub. Thirty servings. Every gram accounted for.
